2023 Silver Spring Haunted Houses: Patch Halloween Display Gallery

SILVER SPRING, MD — As the days get colder and the nights grow longer, Halloween inches closer. Not only is the holiday a night for trick-or-treaters to score some sweet candy, it also gives the scary set in Reston the chance to decorate their homes with ghosts, ghouls, witches, skeletons, and jack o' lanterns.

If you're the kind of person who goes all out for Halloween displays, we want to see it. Patch is putting together its annual guide to Halloween home displays worth visiting.

Amy V. Uhrin decorated her home at 9300 Saybrook Ave. in Silver Spring with massive a Halloween skeleton, which she had to drive six hours to buy in 2020. Since then, Skelly has been the star of Uhrin's annual spooky decorations for Halloween.

This is the 10th year running that Jennifer Bullock and her family have created a yard haunt at 14704 Carona Drive in Silver Spring.

Located in Ravenscroft Manor, the haunt features a 12-foot skeleton called Damian Kilgrave, who grabs all of the attention. They also have an 8-foot reaper and several other animatronics.
