3-Vehicle Crash On MD-301; Hot Weather Continues: Traffic In MD, DC

On The Road

As of 7:22 a.m., I-395 South from Conway Street to the Fort McHenry Tunnel is closed, according to MDOT. [Baltimore, MD]

As of 7:22 a.m., both traffic lanes of MD-151 North are closed between Sparrows Point and Wharf Road, according to MDOT. [Sparrows Point, MD]

As of 7:22 a.m., the lefthand shoulder of I-95 North from Weigh Station Access Road to Cherry Hill Road is closed. [Adelphi, MD]

As of 7:22 a.m., southbound MD-108 between Lark Brown Road and Gateway Overlook Drive, according to MDOT. [Elkridge, MD]

As of 6:59 a.m., a crash was reported on northbound Baltimore-Washington Parkway near MD-193/Greenbelt Road, according to WTOP. [Greenbelt, MD]

As of 6:55 a.m., two lanes of southbound MD-301 at Mattawoman Drive are blocked by a three-vehicle crash near Cedarville State Forest., according to WTOP. [Delight, MD]

As of 6:41 a.m., the two left lanes of westbound MD-100 near I-97, according to WTOP. [Glen Burnie, MD]

As o 6:41 a.m., an earlier crash has been cleared but expect delays between Kit Kat Road and Cemetery Lane. [Elkridge, MD] according to WTOP.

On Metro

As of 7:35 a.m., buses on Metrobus Route 96 are experiencing delays in both directions due to construction on New Jersey Avenue at H Street, Northwest. [Washington, DC]

Local and Express shuttle bus service available at Stadium-Armory due to the summer platform improvement project, according to Metro. Several stations in Maryland on the Orange Line are closed due to the project: Minnesota Avenue, Deanwood, Cheverly, Landover, and New Carrollton. [Washington, DC]

MARC

As of 7:31 a.m., MARC Camden 849 is experiencing a 15-20 minute delay due to earlier signal problems, according to MTA/MDOT. [Washington, DC]

DC Weather

Weather in Washington, D.C. is expected to remain hot with little or no precipitation on Friday, according to the AccuWeather forecast. The temperature at 7:40 a.m. was 78 degrees under partly sunny skies. The high is expected to be 96 and the low 76.

Hot weather is expected to continue on Friday wit the possibility of an isolated shower or thunderstorm near the Pennsylvania border, according to the National Weather Service
