Happy Tuesday, Silver Spring! Here are five things to know today, to help you keep up-to-date about what’s going on in the community:
1. Today the skies are expected to be mostly cloudy with hours of sunshine, according to the National Weather Service. Temperatures may reach a high of 57 degrees. The skies should clear by the evening and temperatures drop to a low around 36 degrees.
2. If you missed the story, the Board of Education is set to hold a worksession meeting Wednesday, Nov. 2. The controversial boundary study is calling for a change in the makeup of Bethesda-Chevy Chase elementary schools.

3. The Montgomery County Council will meet today to discuss redistriciting for voting precincts. Please call 240.777.7803 if you are interested in testifying. Written testimony may be e-mailed by 1:30 p.m. on Nov 1.
