1. Expect cloudy skies with temperatures reaching into the mid 50s, according to the National Weather Service. Tonight, the skies should clear up and temperatures are expected to drop to the mid 30s.

Saturday and Sunday will be slightly chilly with temperatures in the 50s, but you can expect sunny skies for the most part.
2. If you missed it, the Purple Line is officially in the preliminary engineering stage and is expected to be complete in 2020.

3. Sex Education written by Lissa Levin uses wit and comedy between a graduating high school basketball star and his retiring English teacher with a little help from his cheerleader girlfriend. The show starts at 8 p.m. at Montgomery College Takoma Park/Silver Spring Campus located at 7995 Georgia Ave. and costs $20.
4. The European Union Film Showcase at the American Film Institute started this week. Expect over 40 international films this year.
