About the Peter and the Wolf Ballet

ABA introduces this exciting story to a new generation of young people, presenting the ballet premiere about the hungry wolf, the ill-fated duck, the fortunate cat, the fearless little bird, and brave Peter, who helps save his friends from the wolf's jaws - and saves the wolf from the hunters' guns.

Each character in the story is represented by a melody played by a different instrument. Written in 1936, Sergei Prokofiev's symphonic folk tale has enchanted generations of children and adults. Choreographed by Jessica Novakovich.

The story of Peter and the Wolf teaches an important lesson - to have courage while facing a challenge.

The 35-minute show is followed by a short Q&A and photo shoot with the dancers.
