- McDonalds is set to hire about 50,000 new hires on April 19th. With jobs far and between I'm sure this is welcome news for anyone is on a job hunt. The new positions will include a combination of both seasonal and sustaining full-time and part-time positions based upon individual restaurant needs.
- You've seen the Silver Spring Civic Center at Veterans Plaza but what is the building for and what goes in inside? Since it's debut the building has been the center for the community to hold discussions, workout while dancing and hosts events.
- Silver Spring blogger mom Jessica McFadden turns to the community for advice since she hasn't had a baby in 5 years. She is getting use to the groove and is calling all moms to line up to share their best tips.
- The Arts and Humanities Council hosts a Advocacy Potluck to help motivate people to support the arts in Montgomery County. Interested in cooking, you can bring a desert, a main dish or appetizer.
