Del. Cardin Seeks 'Revenge Porn' Ban
The bill seeks a five years prison term for anyone caught distributing sexually explicit images of an ex-significant other.

Del. Jon Cardin, who is running for attorney general, is scheduled to propose a law that would criminalize ex-significant others posting explicit pictures or video online, often referred to as "revenge porn."
Cardin (D-Baltimore County), University of Maryland Carey Law Professor Danielle Keats Citron and victim advocate Annmarie Chirarini will speak about the bill during a press conference at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday at University of Maryland Francis King Carey School of Law in Baltimore, according to a news release.

The law could mean up to five years in prison and a $25,000 fine for anyone who shares sexually explicit material without consent.
