Homeless Mini-Walk in Silver Spring Seeks to Raise Funds

The event is scheduled for Sunday, Nov. 6.

Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless (MCCH) is set to host a community Mini-Walk in Silver Spring as part of their Help the Homeless Program. The program in partnership with Fannie Mae will include awareness through music, activities, face painting, including other activities on Sunday, Nov. 6.

About 100 people are already pre-registered for event, spokeswoman for Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, Diane Aten said.

Residents who are interested in attending the mini-walk can register at the event or by visiting Help the Homeless DC website. Then clicking “Register for a Mini-Walk” and searching for “Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless.”
