Identity Fraud Suspect Wanted In Silver Spring: Police

Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say used a stolen identity to withdraw money from a Silver Spring bank.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Police are asking for the public's help in identifying a man they say used a stolen identity to withdraw all of a victim's funds from his account at a Silver Spring bank.

The victim was notified by his bank that his account had been closed because all of his funds had been withdrawn at SunTrust Bank at 8700 Georgia Ave. on July 1.

Investigators believe that on June 30, a man used a fake driver's license to withdraw about $2,500 from the victim's account. Police released surveillance photographs of the suspect in hopes that the public can identify him.
