Letter to the Editor: Dear Silver Spring Patch...

After Silver Spring Patch meet with the community on Thursday, Jan. 19, one of our readers who stopped by expressed their excitement about Patch and their interest in becoming a local voice writer.

She had this to say:

Thanks for your sharing and your time while conversing in downtown, Silver Spring about PATCH.  PATCH seems to be an organization where enthusiastic employees are looking forward to engage the community on dialogue about any aspect of life.  Furthermore, celebrating personal encounters that uplift souls and create solidarity which I had the pleasure to experience first hand.
 
This year my personal and career focus is to move forward into new envrionments where I can enjoy my acquired skills, abilities and experience and also learn about communications and media environments.  Finally, developing my natural given talents like inspirational writing will be a great way to initiate my first steps on colaborating with your mission.
