Man Dead After Jumping From MD Parking Garage

SILVER SPRING, MD — Montgomery County police are asking for the public's help identifying a man who died after he jumped off a parking garage in downtown Silver Spring.

According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday just before 10 p.m. at a parking garage located in the 800 block of Ellsworth Drive.

Police said the man had no identification on him when he died.

Police described him as a Black male between 20 and 30 years old. He was wearing a white, long-sleeved shirt with the Nike logo on the chest. He also wore gray sweatpants and gray shoes.

Detectives are seeking the community’s help in identifying the man. Anyone who may have information that could help determine his identity is asked to call the Montgomery County Police Department’s non-emergency number at 301-279-8000.
