Man Shot, Killed On Aspen Hill Street

A 28-year-old man was shot and killed while walking in Aspen Hill early Sunday, according to Montgomery County police.

Police and county fire and rescue personnel responded to the 3700 block of Bel Pre Road shortly before 3 a.m. Sunday for the report of a shooting, according to a county police news release.

Police said they believe the man was walking when he was approached by two other men. A verbal exchange followed, and the victim was shot, according to police.

Police are confirming details of the suspects' descriptions and will release the victim's identity after his family has been notified.
