Missing Mother, Son Sought May Be In Baltimore Area: Police

(Updated at 10 a.m. Tuesday): OLNEY, MD — Police are searching for a missing woman and her 5-year-old son who were last known to be in the Baltimore area Sunday.

Crystal Marie Wood, 33, of Tidewater Court in Olney, is missing along with her son Gianni Vanegas, police said. Police and family are concerned for the well-being of Woods and her son.

Police said Wood and her son were in Olney Saturday and the Baltimore area Sunday.

Police describe Wood as a white female who is 5’4” and weighs about 180 pounds. She has brown eyes and brown hair and was last seen wearing a black sweatshirt with the word “pink” written on the front, black leggings and carrying a red purse.

Vanegas is about 3-foot tall and weighs 41 pounds. He has brown eyes and brown hair. He was last seen wearing a dark jacket over a blue sweatshirt, blue jeans and gray, high top Chuck Taylor sneakers, police said.
