Eisa Gouredou, a Silver Spring resident and member of the Maryland Writers Association, is preparing her debut novel, In the Shadow of Dreams. The story, set in Miami, follows two young French women chasing their American dream. While the book is not yet published, Eisa is a local creative voice whose story could make a compelling feature for Patch, highlighting the vibrant arts and literary talent in our community.

A 14-year-old teen who wasn't seen by her family for two weeks was located Tuesday safe and unharmed, Montgomery County Police report. Before Tuesday, Justice Page, of Silver Spring, was last seen by her family around 12 p.m. on Feb. 18 and police asked the public for help locating her.
