Montgomery High School Grad Mentors New Students At Albright College

READING, PA — Silver Springs Michael Thomas was recently named a Peer Orientation Person at Albright College in Reading, Pennsylvania, according to a Merit News release.

A graduate of Richard Montgomery High School, Thomas is studying communications and psychology at Albright.

POPs mentor and guide new students through their first year on campus, starting with summer onboarding and Welcome Weekend.

The college's Office of Student Involvement and Leadership and members of the Steering Committee, hire, train and guide POPs, who are rising second, third and fourth year students at Albright. Students who wish to serve as POPs must have a 2.5 grade point average and be in good standing with the college.
