Patch asked its readers in Silver Spring to share photos of their beloved canine buddies to celebrate National Dog Day on Saturday.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Between walking our dogs at Silver Spring's parks and taking them to restaurant patios, dogs are a part of everyday life in Silver Spring. Saturday, Aug. 26 is National Dog Day — all the more reason to celebrate our furry friends.
