New Location of True Food Kitchen in Bethesda

Bethesda-based foodies will be pleased to learn of the upcoming addition to the area’s health food scene: True Food Kitchen.

Headquartered in Arizona, True Food Kitchen is a concept restaurant that bases its menu on the premise: “honest food that tastes really good.”

Putting a nutritious spin on popular trends in cuisine, the restaurant chain cooks up options like the vegetarian, gluten-free “Inside Out” Quinoa Burger and a vegan Thai Green Papaya salad.

The Bethesda location will be on the ground floor of the planned Solaire Bethesda, a luxury apartment complex that will take the place of Eastham’s Exxon Servicenter at 7100 Wisconsin Ave.

A project from the Washington Property Company, the 12-story Solaire Bethesda will also include a cyber cafe, fitness center, a two-story underground parking garage, and an outdoor grilling patio. Construction of Solaire Bethesda began in August and will conclude in 2016.
