Northwood Grad Named To PA State Scholar Athlete Award List

SILVER SPRING, MD — Silver Spring college student Jake Howse was named to the 2022-23 Pennsylvania State Scholar Athlete award list for the 2022-23 academic year, according to Merit News.

Howse was a member of the men's soccer team a Commonwealth University-Bloomsburg. To be named to the award list, a student must maintain cumulative grade point average of at least 3.25 at the completion of the academic year.

A graduate of Northwood High School, Howse played defense/midfield on CUB's men's soccer team and was studying exercise science.

Howse was among 3,794 student-athletes from 18 institutions to be named a PSAC Scholar-Athlete at the end of the 2022-23 academic year.

Overall, the PSAC honored 3,794 student-athletes from the league's 18 institutions after the conclusion of the 2022-23 academic year as PSAC Scholar-Athletes.
