Customers of Closed Silver Spring Drycleaner Can Recover Clothing
Consumers with clothing at Sunny Cleaners in Silver Spring, which closed and was later evicted, may reclaim their items Dec. 5-10 only.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Customers who dropped off clothing at Sunny Cleaners, 12335 Georgia Ave. in Silver Spring, have a five-day window next month to reclaim their items even though the store has closed and the owners have been evicted from the site.
Officials with the Montgomery County’s Office of Consumer Protection have made arrangements with the landlord to allow consumers to pick-up their clothing. Glenmont Commercial, LP, will open the cleaners only from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 5-10. The landlord requires exact payment and only in cash. Credit cards and checks will not be accepted.

Customers must have their ticket to claim dry cleaning. Updated information will be provided on the consumer protection office's Facebook page and its Twitter feed.
