Police search for suspect in Northwest Branch Trail assault in Silver Spring (wusa9.com) — Police are asking Silver Spring residents for help identifying a suspect in an aggravated assault on the Northwest Branch Trail between Oakview Drive and Piney Branch Road on November 1. Investigators released a detailed sketch and description of the young man and urge anyone with information to contact the Park Police tip line or email address.
