'Sibling' Mexican Restaurants Open In Silver Spring Friday
Two "sibling restaurants" called Tacos, Tortas and Tequila and Buena Vida are set to open Friday, right in time for Cinco de Mayo.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Two Mexican restaurants called Tacos, Tortas and Tequila and Buena Vida are set to open on Ramsey Avenue Friday, right in time for Cinco de Mayo.
Ivan Iricanin — the restaurateur behind the famed Balkan restaurant Ambar in D.C. and Arlington — is opening the two "sibling" restaurants across rom the Silver Spring Transit Center at 8407 Ramsey Ave.
The fast-casual Tacos, Tortas and Tequila (TTT) will be located on the first floor, while the fancier Buena Vida will be on the second floor, Eater reports.

Tacos, Tortas and Tequila (TTT) will sell "authentic meets modern" Mexican dinners on the first floor. Diners can expect a cheaper and more casual feel, with tacos ranging from $3-5 and tortas and quesadillas for $7-12. TTT will serve breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Buena Vida, on the second floor, will focus on unlimited small-plates for dinner and brunch, similar to Ambar. Diners can enjoy unlimited small-plates for dinner for $35, and $39 for bottomless brunch on the weekend.
Eater reports TTT will serve $1 tacos and $5 margaritas with Sauza Blue tequila from Friday, May 4 to Monday, May 14. Buena Vida will serve it's $35 dinner special for $20, and its $20 lunch for $12.
Brunch service at Buena Vida is scheduled to begin on Saturday, May 12.
