Silver Spring Armed Robbery Investigated By Montgomery Co. Police
Police are asking for the public's help in identifying suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in Silver Spring on Feb. 18.

SILVER SPRING, MD — Detectives from the Montgomery County Police Department are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying suspects wanted in connection with an armed robbery in the 900 block of Silver Spring Avenue on Feb. 18.
At about midnight on Feb. 18, a man was walking near the intersection of Silver Spring Avenue and Mayor Lane in Silver Spring when two unknown suspects approached him. One of the suspects pointed a gun at the man and demanded his personal property, police said.
The victim complied with the suspect’s demands. The suspects then left the scene with the victim’s stolen property in a black SUV with tinted windows, driven by a third suspect, according to police.
