Silver Spring Man Injured After Cleaning Accident

Two chemicals that didn't mix caused the accident.

A Silver Spring man was injured Friday after he poured the wrong mixture of chemicals, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue spokesman Oscar Garcia said.

Around 10 a.m., fire and rescue officials were dispatched to 1121 University Blvd. West for a report of an inhalation hazard.

"He mixed water and another product near the garage area of his residential building," Garcia said.
