SILVER SPRING, MD — A Silver Spring synagogue was broken into on two occasions recently — during a Oct. 31 break-in a man tried to get into a safe, and on Sept. 21 a man stole money from the collection jar, an envelope containing cash from an employee's desk, and property from the synagogue.

Surveillance video shows a man on both dates entering through the same window around 3 a.m. Montgomery County Police are looking for the "suspects," and did not say if they believe it is the same man.

It was not disclosed how much money was stolen from the synagogue, or what the property was that was stolen. Police have released the surveillance footage, and are asking the public for help identifying the burglars.
