Silver Spring Woman Dies In Rollover Crash
A Silver Spring woman died when her car went off the road, and a man in the vehicle was injured, Montgomery County police said.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A 69-year-old Silver Spring woman died when her car went off the road, and a man in the vehicle was injured, Montgomery County police said.
The accident happened about 1:30 p.m. on Sunday near Old Columbia Pike and Musgrove Road. A black Cadillac XT4 overturned with two occupants inside.
The driver, Laura Mae Martin, was pronounced dead at the scene, according to police. The passenger, an adult male, was taken to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Investigators say the Cadillac was southbound on Old Columbia Pike when, for reasons still under investigation, Martin lost control of the SUV at the intersection with Musgrove Road. The Cadillac crossed into the northbound lane, struck the curb, left the road, hit two signs, and rolled onto its roof.
No other vehicles were involved in the crash, authorities said.
