How do you know the teacher?
Proud father and mother
What does this person teach?
Third grade
Why do you believe the teacher should be recognized or honored?
Anya is so dedicated to her students, her classroom and her school. She puts in so much time preparing materials to make the learning fun and including extra fun activities for when the kids do well or have extra time. Like every teacher, everywhere, she uses a lot of her own money and time to make a difference in her students lives, and she doesn't think twice about it. Anya takes the time to learn about each of her students and uses that information to shape her lessons and her interactions with each student in mind. I wish Anya was my teacher, or at least my child's teacher!
What's one thing you want everyone to know about the teacher?
Anya has spent many years learning and practicing American Sign Language and Spanish so she can better communicate with not only her students, but their parents and guardians, too.
