Third Person Dies In Aspen Hill Car Crash: Police
A third person has been killed following a multi-vehicle crash last week in Aspen Hill, authorities announced Monday.

SILVER SPRING, MD — A third person has died following a car crash that happened when a driver struck a parked vehicle last week in Aspen Hill, Montgomery County police said Monday.
First responders were called to the intersection of Park Vista Drive and Hatteras Way around 5:30 p.m. on Friday for the report of a serious collision.
Authorities said Karl Neil Ross, 86, of the 3200 block of North Leisure World Blvd., was driving east on Park Vista Drive in a 2018 Toyota Avalon. As he approached Hatteras Way, he crossed a double yellow line and struck an unoccupied parked vehicle. The Toyota Avalon then caught on fire.

Ross was seriously injured in the crash. He was taken to a hospital where he later died, police said Monday.
Martha Luise Ross, 78, and Joan Williams Jenkins, 91, both of the 3200 block of North Leisure World Blvd., were passengers in the Toyota Avalon. They were pronounced dead at the scene, according to police.
