Three Killed In MOCO Snowplow Crash Monday Night

Three people were killed and another was injured when an SUV collided with a snowplow on Columbia Pike at Briggs Chaney Road.

SILVER SPRING, MD — An SUV and snowplow collision left three people dead and a fourth seriously injured Monday night. The crash occurred before 6:45 p.m. on Columbia Pike near Briggs Chaney Road, Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Spokesperson Pete Piringer said on Twitter.

Montgomery County Police said the black Cadillac SRX was traveling north when it hit the back of a white Peterbilt snowplow dump truck,

The three victims were 27-year-old Shawde Ajee Nayonta Wicks of Clinton; 41-year-old Natasha Ann Hunter of Baltimore; and 52-year-old Gary Eugene Early of Baltimore.

The person who was injured was taken to a hospital, WTOP reported.
