BOSTON, MA — Light snowfall is expected across Massachusetts Wednesday, bringing a few inches of accumulation statewide. After several days of springlike temperatures and strengthening sunshine, the snow isn't expected to cause too many negative impacts on roads.

The snow is expected to arrive by noon and continue throughout the afternoon, tapering off by evening. One to three inches of accumulation are expected, with lesser amounts along the eastern coast and slightly higher accumulations in central Massachusetts.

The snowfall will be light, the National Weather Service said. Combined with warm roads from the past few days of springlike temperatures, little snow accumulation is expected on paved surfaces, especially main streets and highways.
