Perfect Labor Day Weekend Weather For New England

It's going to be a beautiful Labor Day weekend across New England. The latest forecast calls for sunny skies Friday through Sunday, with highs around 80 degrees and light 5-10 mph breezes. There's a small chance of showers Monday morning, when the high will hit 75.

If you're planning to travel by car, good news: Gas prices remain low, with a national average of $2.59.

"For Americans who bookend summer with road trips, they will find gas prices this coming weekend that are cheaper than this past Memorial Day and last year’s Labor Day holiday," said AAA spokesperson Jeanette Casselano. "At the start of the week, two-thirds of all states have gas price averages that are nearly a quarter cheaper than last year."
