Who's Getting $500 Payments This Month In MA?
Around 300,000 essential workers in Massachusetts will get a check for $500 in June. Check to see if you're eligible here.

MASSACHUSETTS — A second round of $500 payments is going out in June to 300,000 low-income Massachusetts residents.
Gov. Charlie Baker signed the COVID-19 Essential Employee Premium Pay program into law in December 2021, setting aside $460 million for payments to half a million low-income workers in Massachusetts.
The first round of $500 checks went out to nearly 240,000 residents in March. Another 300,000 workers will get their checks some time this month, state officials told Patch.

Who's Eligible?
The Executive Office for Administration and Finance says you're eligible to receive a second-round $500 payment if you:
- Filed a 2021 tax return
- Lived in Massachusetts on or before June 15, 2021
- Earned at least $13,500 in 2021 and your total household income was at or below 300 percent of the federal poverty level
- Did not receive a $500 payment in the first round
- Did not receive any unemployment compensation in 2021
- Did not receive a one-time COVID-related payment from MA as your employer
