Tuesday morning lows will be in the 20s with temperatures only recovering to about 40 degrees in the afternoon. There will also be wind chills well below that with a steady west wind at 10 to 20 miles per hour and gusts to 25 mph.

The good news for this time of year is that the cold snap will be relatively short-lived with winds shifting around to the southwest on Wednesday as highs once again bounce back up near 50 degrees.
