Wintry Stretch With Snow, Harsh Wind, Crashing Temperatures: See Latest Forecast
A wintry mix could hit parts of New England late Saturday night into Sunday before a bitter start to the work week.

MASSACHUSETTS — An overnight weekend storm could bring a wintry mix to parts of New England before high winds and harshly colder temperatures settle in for the start of the workweek as a winter feel takes hold across the region.
Much of the day Saturday will be chilly and dry with highs in the 40s before clouds increase late in the afternoon and precipitation arrives in the evening.
Temperatures should hold in the upper 30s overnight for most of Massachusetts — meaning rain, heavy at times, across the state — but some of the higher elevations could experience a wintry mix with snow and sleet at times.

That sets up a much colder Monday with highs only in the 30s and the chance of snow flakes in the air. The biggest issues on Monday will be the harsh wind that gust to 40 mph, potentially causing some damage in areas that still have leaves on the trees.
It sets up a frosty week overall with lows in the 20s overnight and highs struggling to get out of the low 40s.
