12th Annual Arlington Jazz Festival Headlined By John Patitucci Trio

The Festival runs from March 30 to April 2 this year, with performances by John Patitucci, Chris Potter, and drummer Obed Calvaire.

ARLINGTON, MA – The Arlington Jazz Festival is entering its 12th year and has a wide variety of musical events for jazz and music lovers alike scheduled over a four day period across town.

The annual festival, organized by the nonprofit Arlington Jazz Festival, runs from March 30 to April 2 this year to coincide with April being recognized as National Jazz Appreciation Month.

This year’s headliner, to be held at the Regent Theatre on the final day of the festival, will showcase the John Patitucci Trio.

The multi-Grammy award-winning first-call bassist, John Patitucci, will be joined by saxophonist Chris Potter and drummer Obed Calvaire.

Patitucci has performed with Wayne Shorter, Stan Getz, and Jackie McClean, among many other jazz performers.

Leading up to Arlington Jazz Festival’s headliner John Patitucci Trio concert are three days full of jazz performances that celebrate the local jazz scene that thrives in this area, with performances by: Jesse Williams Group, Estefanía Núñez Villamandos Group, The Francisco Mela Trio w/George Garzone, Los Zorros, The Plamen Karadonev/Elena Koleva Group, String Theory, the Jon Wheatley/Sheryl Bailey Duo, the Tiger Wizard Band, and more.
