Arlington Arts Commission Gets State Funding: Report
The town was one of more than 50 communities that was awarded a grant.
ARLINGTON, MA — The town has received a $15,000 grant from the Massachusetts Cultural Council to support and enrich artistic culture, according to a report from YourArlington.
The Council distributed a total of $870,000 to municipalities throughout the state. The funding is part of the MCC’s Cultural District Investment Grant Program. Arlington Commission for Arts and Culture Co-chair Stewart Ikeda said that his organization plans to use the funds to implement audio tours of the district, live programs, public art projects, signage and wayfinding, and advertising.
