Arlington Select Board Seeks Resident Input On Next Town Manager

ARLINGTON, MA — The Town of Arlington will hold a community forum on Thursday, Nov. 10 at 7 p.m.to offer Arlington residents the opportunity to share their thoughts regarding the skills and experience the next Town Manager should possess.

The town has contracted with the consulting firm Community Paradigm Associates to assist in the search process. Bernard Lynch, Principal of the firm, will participate in the community forum.

“We are very interested in hearing recommendations regarding the skills, experience, and other characteristics Arlington residents would like to see in their next Town Manager,” Lenard Diggins, Chair of the Arlington Select Board, said in a statement. “We value the input of all of our residents in the Town Manager selection process.”

To remotely participate in the community forum, register in advance for this meeting here. After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting.

Residents interested in participating but who may have difficulty in joining a remote meeting are asked to contact the Select Board’s office at 781-316-3020 and the town will work to provide assistance.

An online survey is also available for Arlington residents to share their thoughts regarding the preferred skills and experience of the next Town Manager. The deadline to take the survey is November 15.
