Donut Villa Diner Plans To Open In Arlington Center

ARLINGTON, MA — Donut Villa Diner is planning to open its fourth location in the former Common Ground space in Arlington Center, reported Boston Restaurant Talk.

The restaurant, known for its donuts and diner food, currently has locations in Newtonville, Cambridge, and Malden.

According to a Select Board meeting agenda page on the town’s website, Donut Villa owner Erin Bashllari plans to have seating for 195, an outdoor patio in addition to an indoor dining room, and a menu that features American cuisine. Bashllari is also seeking a full liquor license for the location.

The Arlington location of Common Ground shut down in 2020 after about six years of business. The original location was in Allston until 2019.
