MBTA Launches Rider Census
Commuters have a chance to make their voice heard by filling out a short survey

The MBTA has launched the MBTA Rider Census, a system-wide passenger survey.
The transportation service is required to survey commuters every five years about their demographics and trip-making characteristics.
The MBTA says it will use the data collected to evaluate current service, to plan future service, and to analyze the potential rider impacts of service or fare change proposals.

The survey takes less than five minutes to do and does not ask any tricky questions. It evaluates a normal trip for any citizen, comprising of where you started your commute, what time you started, where you went, if you needed to transfer to another bus or train, and when you got to your destination.
You can fill out the census at www.mbta.com/census.
