ARLINGTON, MA - 2015 started out with historic blizzards, and ended with unseasonably warm winter temperatures.

The snow was memorable in many ways, but this may have been the most memorable snow story. An Arlington woman allegedly attacked her neighbor with a snow blower.

Another huge top story in town was when a local 15-year-old boy killed himself with cyanide. The neighborhood had to be evacuated.

“I want black people to start an armed rebellion against white oppression,” Elaine Koenig allegedly told authorities in May. Authorities said the woman tried to launch a race war at Stop and Shop.

A two-state sex trafficking case originated in Arlington. A 17-year-old female was taken from South Station, Boston, and taken to Rhode Island for the purpose of trafficked for sex.

A 24-year-old Arlington, Mass., woman was arraigned in Cambridge District Court in early December for larceny after she allegedly exploited more than $100,000 from an elderly resident with no family. The woman allegedly faked terminal brain cancer, according to police.

Another top story on Arlington Patch was a man who once worked as a teaching assistant at Ottoson Middle School. He was arraigned for statutory rape of a former student,according authorities.
