ARLINGTON-- Arlington Facebook groups are buzzin' to find book clubs. As you form your own and want to welcome more community members into your group, let us know! For now, check out the Robbins and Fox Libraries' Book Clubs (of which there are several) to get your David McCullough fix.

Name: Queer Book Group
Meets (where & when): 7 – 8:30, every other month, usually on the last Wednesday. Meeting up in the 4th Floor Conference Room of the Robbins

Group statement: Read some great LGBTQ-themed books (fiction and non-fiction, about 80/20), make some new friends, and expand your community!

Name: Guys Book Group
Meets (where & when): 7:30 pm the first Thursday of each month at the Fox branch

Group statement: Book topics generally include sports, politics, history, crime, business, and technology. We primarily read non-fiction, but we will read some fiction as well.

Name: Not-So-Young-Adult Book Group (NSYA)
Meets (where & when): 7pm usually on the third Wednesday of each month in the Robbins Library Conference Room.

Group statement: A book group for adults in which we read young adult books.

Name: Robbins Library Book Discussion Group
Meets (where & when): the first Monday of each month in the Robbins Library Community Room (the September meeting will be in the Conference Room.)
Leader/contact: Therese Henderson (tzh@mit.edu)
Group statement: The longest-running of all of these book groups, this one has been meeting since January 1994. Members may recommend up to four titles per year, and the facilitator determines the final selections. This group reads a blend of fiction and nonfiction with a variety of themes.
