'Abandoned' Puppy Looks For New Home, Woman Charged
Dominique Scott is facing animal cruelty charges after a 12-week-old chihuahua was found dumped in a crate on Draper Ave.
NORTH ATTLEBORO, MA — A woman is facing charges after police say a puppy was found ditched in a crate along the side of a busy North Attleboro road last month.
Dominique Scott was arrested and charged with cruelty to animals, police said.
On Feb. 26, a 12-week-old chihuahua was found in a blue carrier on the side of the road near Draper Ave.

Authorities have not released how Scott was arrested or came to be a suspect.
This puppy, now named Axel, is being cared for at the North Attleboro Animal Shelter.

According to police, Axel is doing "fantastic" and anyone interested in adopting him should contact the North Attleboro Animal Shelter.
