Chief Scott Lachance reports that the Attleboro Fire Department extinguished a house fire on the second floor of a multi-family home on Orange Street last night.

At approximately 6:40 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 24, Attleboro Fire responded to a home at 38-40 Orange St. for a report of a fire. Upon arrival, crews witnessed heavy smoke coming from the second floor of the multi-family home.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation by the Attleboro Fire Department.
