Attleboro Man Accused Of Killing Elderly Woman, Arson: Report

Adam Rollins, 42, is accused of killing 80-year-old Judith Henriques​ in November and setting fir to her home, NBC10 reported.

ATTLEBORO, MA — An Attleboro man has been charged on suspicion of the murder of an 80-year-old woman and arson after previously being arrested on suspicion of her burglary and assault, according to NBC10 Boston.

Adam Rollins, 42, is accused of killing 80-year-old Judith Henriques and setting fire to the home in November, the Bristol County District Attorney's Office announced Tuesday, according to the outlet.

Henriques was robbed and assaulted prior to her death in an overnight house fire on Division Street on November 18, according to Bristol County District Attorney Thomas Quinn III.

Henriques had injuries that were inconsistent with her being alive at the time of the fire, NBC10 reported.

Rollins was arraigned on January 3 after being arrested in Weymouth on January 1 and charged on suspicion of burglary and assault following a months long investigation, according to the district attorney.

NBC10 reported that relatives of the victim found about $1,200 worth of her jewelry on a nearby street along with Rollins' ATM card.

Henriques was found dead in the home shortly after the fire was extinguished, officials said.
