• Garage damaged by fire in Attleboro (wpri.com) — Attleboro firefighters quickly knocked down a Friday morning garage fire on Hope Street, preventing it from spreading to a nearby home just 10 feet away. Thick smoke and heavy damage destroyed the detached garage’s contents, but no injuries were reported. Investigators are still working to determine what sparked the blaze. 
• Bay Staters continue to buckle up (bostonherald.com) — Attleboro drivers are part of Bristol County, which still has the lowest seat belt usage in Massachusetts at just 78%, even as statewide rates hit a record high. A new 2025 study shows more Bay Staters buckling up overall, but highlights persistent gaps by county, vehicle type, and age. Local residents are urged to keep improving their everyday safety habits on the road.
