Bedford Public Schools, Middlesex Community College Closed Friday

Bedford schools will be closed Friday due to the impending blizzard, according to Bedford Public Schools website.

Closures include Bedford High School, John Glenn Middle School, Lane Elementary School,Davis Elementary School and the integrated Pre-School.

Middlesex Community College has also canceled all classes and events scheduled for Friday. 

Also in anticipation of the significant snowfall, the town has reminded residents to avoid parking on streets during the storm and subsequent snow removal operations. That advice echoes Gov. Deval Patrick's plea Thursday afternoon that folks stay off the roads after 12 p.m. to allow public works and snow removal crews to do their jobs and keep the roadways passable for emergency vehicles.
