Five Things: A Blizzard Heading For Bedford

1. Bedford Storm Info Center: We'll have live updates for you throughout the blizzard in our Bedford Storm Info Center. Stay tuned to the info center for any information on road closings, power outages and more. See a tree down in your neighborhood? Notice a road is icy? Just saw a store clerk put out more snow melt products? Leave this information in the comment section and we'll add it to the information center!

2. Cancellations and Postponements: School athletic events including Bedford High School track, basketball and hockey games scheduled for this weekend have been cancelled or postponed due to the storm. Check out our list of event cancellations and postponements, and let us know in the comment section of any we missed and we'll add them to the list.

3. Parking Ban: Town officials issued a statement Thursday afternoon reminding residents that parking on the streets during the storm or the ensuing snow removal process is prohibited. Vehicles parked on the streets in Bedford during the storm will be towed.

5. Blizzard Warning: A blizzard warning has been issued for Bedford on Friday with a high of 33 and snow starting to fall at around 9 a.m., according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a low of 21 Friday night with heavy snow throughout the night.
