1. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website public meetings posted for today include the Historic Preservation Committee at 7:30 p.m., Planning Board at 7:30 p.m. and Trails Committee at 7:30 p.m.
2. BHS Basketball: The Bedford High School boys varsity basketball team will take on the Waltham High School Hawks at 5:30 p.m. at BHS. Meanwhile, the BHS girls varsity team will take on the Waltham girls at 5:30 p.m. at WHS.Â

3. A New Solar Wafer Plant in Bedford: 1366 Technologies opened a new plant in Bedford last week which will focus on the development and commercialization of the company's Direct Wafer technology. The Direct Wafer will bring 1366 closer to its ultimate goal of making solar energy more affordable by cutting the cost of the silicon wafers used in solar panels.
