Five Things: Bucs Hockey
BHS hockey, public meetings and the inspiration for the movie 'Argo' in Bedford on Feb. 12.

1. Bucs Hockey: The Bedford High School varsity hockey team will take on the Lowell High School Red Raiders at 4:05 p.m. at the Edge Sports Center.
2. Today in Public Meetings: According to the town website public meetings posted for today include the Board of Assessors at 7 p.m., the Conservation Commission at 7 p.m. and Capital Expenditure Appointing Authority at 7:25 p.m. The Capital Expenditure Committee scheduled for Wednesday night at 7:30 p.m. has been cancelled, according to the town website.

3. Former CIA agent Tony Mendez of 'Argo' Fame will be at Middlesex Community College as part of the One World Series. Mendez whose efforts to help six Americans escape from Iran inspired the hit movie “Argo,” will be speaking at MCC at 9:30 a.m. Stay tuned to Bedford Patch for coverage of the event.

5. Sunny Day, Wet and Cold Night: Wednesday will be sunny with a high near 41, according to the National Weather Service, which predicts a 30 percent chance of snow Wednesday night with a low of 24.
