Lt. Gov. Murray Announces Increased Energy Efficiency at Hanscom

Following a tour of the Massachusetts Military Reservation in Bourne on Thursday, Lt. Gov. Timothy Murray will announce a plan to increase energy efficiency at the state's six military bases, including Hanscom Air Force Base, according to a press release from Murray's office.

Murray will make the funding announcement, and then tour the future site of a solar array at MMR, "a project that has the potential to be one of the most productive solar projects in Massachusetts," according to the release. 

Back in October, Murray toured the new Massachusetts National Guard Headquarters at Hanscom Air Force Base, which was built to focus on sustainibility and energy efficiency.
