Police Arrest Bedford Man, Three Others Following Prostitution Investigation
Woburn Police, working with a regional agency, arrested four men on sexual conduct for a fee changes including one Bedford man.

Members of the Woburn Police Department arrested four men following separate investigations on charges of sexual conduct for a fee, including one Bedford resident.
According to a release, on March 15 members of the Woburn Police Department working with members Southern Middlesex Regional Drug Task Force conducted a prostitution sting at local hotels. The investigation included posting online advertisements for female prostitutes and a female contact to set up the transactions.

In each case the men entered a hotel room after discussing paying for sexual conduct and put down money for the transaction. All funds were recovered for evidence.
Prostitution, a quality of life issue in that it often takes place in hotels, office buildings, and/or apartment buildings where there is pedestrian traffic where customers often blend in, is often associated with drug usage, drug addiction, sexually transmitted diseases, human trafficking, abuse and violence including assaults, rape, and robbery, the release states.
